Is Netflix compelling us to illegally download shows?

I love watching shows & movies all the time. I probably waste too much of my time on Netflix and Prime video, switching between both to find the movie I want to watch.

These services really changed the way we have access to movies & TV shows. It’s pretty amazing to have all this content right there, ready to be watched. It also gets pretty addictive ……

I subscribed to Netflix and Prime video so that I won’t have to illegally stream or download movies to watch them.

Now, here is the trick.

I started watching a movie yesterday but didn’t finish it. Today, I come back on Netflix. It’s gone! The movie became unavailable for my region…

So what am I supposed to do now? I can’t just watch another movie; I want to know how this one ends!

Here I am, feeling like an addict who has to have his drug and I feel like I could do anything just to watch the end of the movie.

Without mentioning all the times when Netflix had the first 3 seasons but not the rest or removes a show from their list when you’re still watching it. This is so frustrating.

I’m decided not to give up and I start looking for other ways to finish my movie (by the way it was The Social Network in case you’re wondering). I’m looking on other on-demand platforms. Either they don’t have it or I’m not in the right geographical region…. I look on Amazon; they sometimes have movies to kind of “rent”. Nop. Nothing on iTunes Store.

Eureka! I could certainly find the DVD! This victory didn’t last for long when I realized that I sold my DVD player when I got Netflix.

I actually have no ways of watching a DVD. Even my computer doesn’t have the DVD player anymore.

So what do you do in this situation? Do you let go of this (and others) movie’s end? Do you move to America? Not sure Trump would let us do that but that’s another concern.

Or do you download it on an illegal website…?
