Do you want to start a Daycare? Pt. 1

Some questions you really need to ask before getting started.

Hello and welcome to Daycare 101! As someone who has almost 20 years experience in daycare, childcare and as a preschool/Pre-Kindergarten teacher, I would like to share some tips about what it’s like to open your own home daycare. I did this for almost 10 years myself and I hope to help if you or someone you know is kicking around the idea of going into this line of work. ❤

There’s a LOT to cover, but here’s my promise to you:

I cannot stress this enough! It is really important that you FOLLOW THE RULES to an absolute “T”! The last thing you want to do is get caught running an illegal daycare from your home. C’mon, people: you wouldn’t want your own children to be in this type of a situation, so don’t act like it’s ok for other people’s children.

You also don’t want to end up on the 6 o’ Clock news because a tragic accident happened on your watch. Be responsible!
